[06:19.85]Most Chinese people have heard about the famous Canadian doctor Dr Norman Bethune
[06:27.89]but only a few know anything about his early life.
[06:33.25]Dr Bethune,whose grandfather was also a doctor,was born in Gravenhurst,Ontario.
[06:42.31]During the First World War(1914-1918),
[06:48.19]he helped the British army in France and was hurt.
[06:53.23]Later,he worked in a children's hospital in England
[06:58.98]and then as a doctorin Canada and the United States.
