Chinese President Xi Jinping has called for reform and innovation in education in line with development of information and communication technology to make all people receive education "anytime, anywhere".
Xi Jinping made the remarks in a congratulatory letter to the International Conference on information and communication technology and Post-2015 Education, which has been held in Beijing.
The conference has attracted participants from more than 90 countries, as well as international organizations and enterprises.
Xi Jinping noted that modern information technology changes the way people think, work, live and study, presenting a prospect for the future world.
China has been making persistent effort to push forward information and communication technology to improve education equality; and the country is willing to expand international cooperation and exchange with other countries and help boost the integration of information and communication technology and education.

China's education authority has issued a list of the country's 2,800 authorized institutions of higher learning.
The schools accredited by the Ministry of Education include private and Sino-foreign joint venture universities, while most Chinese institutions of higher learning are public.
The education ministry issues the list every year, partly in effort to alert the public of unauthorized "diploma mills" which are still seen in a lot of places despite repeated bans.
A commercial website issued a list of pseudo colleges, the third of its kind, naming a total of 210 diploma mills suspected of illegal enrollment and online swindling.
The new list issued by the Ministry of Education can be accessed via the website, moe.edu.cn.
