体坛英语新闻:Liverpool captain Gerrard likely to miss four weeks
LONDON, Nov. 18 (Xinhua) -- Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is likely to miss three to four weeks after picking up a hamstring injury on England duty on Wednesday, confirmed the Premier League side on Thursday.
Gerrard, 30, played 85 minutes in the international friendly against France at Wembley as the Three Lions finally lost to the visitors 2-1.
Gerrard apparently injured his right thigh while scrambling for the ball with Yoann Gourcuff of France, then was replaced by Spurs striker Peter Crouch who pulled a goal back with his first touch of the game in the 86th minute.

If Gerrard is sidelined for four weeks he will miss six matches domestic or in Europe.
