体坛英语新闻:Mourinho: My future doesn't depend on results
MADRID, Feb. 5 (Xinhua) -- Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho said this Saturday that his future at the club doesn't depend on his leading the side to good results, but on other factors.
Speaking in his weekly pre-match press conference ahead of Sunday's league game against Real Sociedad, Mourinho commented on Real Madrid's behind the scenes organization.
The coach's season in charge has been marked by his supposed poor relationship with General Director Jorge Valdano and his struggles to convince the direction to bring in another striker.

The arrival of Emanuel Adebayor and Valdano's move away from first team affairs appears to have calmed recent tension, but speaking in his press conference, which was broadcast on Gol television in Spain, Mourinho again referred to the need for him to feel satisfied with his position at the club.
"My future has nothing to do with sporting results, with us being in the cup final or winning or losing the Champions League or the league," said Mourinho.
"Those are decisions that have to be taken by the club, my decision has to do with being happy and that the club is as well. At the moment you can say that I am happy, but that has nothing to do with results," added the coach.
"I am not in the perfect club, but the perfect club doesn't exist and I am not the perfect coach, because he doesn't exist either," continued Mourinho, who then made reference to Valdano taking a less active role.
"We are improving the structure of the club and we are going in a direction that I like, if the results arrive then even better and we will all be happier, but my decisions have a lot to do with my capacity to do my job in the best way possible," he added.
Mourinho also had words for Cristiano Ronaldo, who celebrates his 26th birthday this Saturday. Ronaldo has scored 22 league goals this season, but has not found the net in over 400 minutes football.
"Cristiano has some truly incredible numbers, he plays an amazing amount of time, if he doesn't score another goal all season it would still have been a fantastic campaign and we are only in February," said Mourinho.
