体坛英语新闻:Allegri unhappy despite win
ROME, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) -- AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri said he was not satisfied with his side's performance following their 4-1 win over Parma on Wednesday.
"We had a decent game, but could have done better in certain moments," moaned the coach.
"It was important to win and give a sense of consistency to our recent results, especially as the table is beginning to stretch out and so it was crucial to stay close to the top."
"When you play every three days it is natural to feel a little tired. We were sluggish in the first half, then picked up after breaking the deadlock.
"When the lads play the way they know how, it's difficult not to create scoring opportunities. However, we still allow our opponents to have too many shots from distance."
Antonio Nocerino was the unexpected hat-trick hero, having previously scored only seven goals in his entire Serie A career.
"He is doing well and we're all happy for him," continued Allegri. "Nocerino is playing in his role and giving his best. It may seem strange, but changing position affects everything, from runs into the box to reference points and even posture," he said.
