国际英语新闻:LinkedIn buys business review site
SAN FRANCISCO, Sept. 23 (Xinhua) -- LinkedIn, the world's largest online professional network, announced on Thursday that it has bought ChoiceVendor, a review site of business services providers.
"Our acquisition of ChoiceVendor is right in line with our top priority to build a world-class team at LinkedIn," Jeff Weiner, chief executive officer of LinkedIn, said in a statement.
Financial terms of the acquisition are not being disclosed.
ChoiceVendor, a San Francisco-based startup founded in 2008 by two former Google employees, provides real-world ratings and reviews of business-to-business service providers in more than 70 categories across the United States.
The deal marked the second purchase for LinkedIn, which was launched in 2003 and now has more than 75 million members globally.
LinkedIn made its first acquisition in August with the recommendation technology company mSpoke.
