ADDIS ABABA, Jan. 31 (Xinhua) -- The 16th African Union (AU) summit ended Monday here in the Ethiopian capital of Addis Ababa, with a plan announced that the next summit will be held in Equatorial Guinea, whose president has just taken over the AU rotating presidency.

A series of decisions concerning Africa's economic, political and social development have been made during the summit, said AU's new chairperson, Equatorial Guinea's President Teodoro Obiang Ngcuema Mbasogo during the press conference he held together with AU Commission head Jean Ping after the closing ceremony.
