The latest popular trend among primary school students in Guangzhou is - Exchanging business cards!
The Information Times reports that the cards have a cartoon character on one side and a column of personal information on the other. Here there are spaces for writing names, QQ numbers or MSN addresses, e-mails and phone numbers. Then the students circulate them amongst their fashion conscious young friends who can fill in the blanks and return them. However the paper reports that a number of parents are afraid of leaking private home information. And some experts also warn against the trend saying that primary school pupils should not be in such a hurry to get involved in social activities more usually associated with the adult world.
