国内英语新闻:School meal lands 129 children in hospital

KUNMING, April 27 (Xinhua) -- More than 100 kindergarten students fell ill after eating breakfast at school on Friday in southwest China's Yunnan province, local authorities said.

A hospital in the city of Wenshan received 129 children from a kindergarten who reported feeling dizzy and nauseated after breakfast, according to the publicity department of Wenshan Zhuang and Miao autonomous prefecture.

Initial probes indicated that the improperly cooked soya milk they consumed at the kindergarten may have caused the problem.

As of Friday evening, 82 children had left the hospital, while the others remained in hospital, officials said.
