国内英语新闻:Armenia, China agree to further promote cooperation
YEREVAN, June 11 (Xinhua) -- Top prosecutors of Armenia and China signed a deal here Monday to boost bilateral cooperation in prosecutorial affairs.
The document crafted to guide the two countries' 2012-2013 cooperation in this field was inked during a meeting between Armenian Prosecutor-General Aghvan Hovsepyan and Procurator- General Cao Jianming of the Supreme People's Procuratorate of China.
Cao, now in Armenia for an official visit, said that China- Armenia cooperation in the economic field has lasted for 20 years, and "now we will try to deepen our cooperation in legal framework. " The two sides signed a similar agreement in 1999.
Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan met with Procurator-General Cao here Monday and also reiterated Armenia's aspiration to continue to expand ties of cooperation with China.
