国内英语新闻:Organization authority opens SMS reporting platform

BEIJING, Dec. 2 (Xinhua) -- The Organization Department of the Communist Party of China Central Committee has set up a platform to receive reports of official selection violations via text messages.

People can now report problems in official selection and appointment procedures via letters, phone calls, SMS messages and the department's website, the department said in a statement on Monday.

The department believe more channels for the public to report violations will be an important measure to supervise official selection work, the statement said.

The department also pledged to investigate every case after a real-name report and punish violations to ensure proper practices in the process.
