国内英语新闻:Chinese budget carrier to expand services with Japan's Kansai
OSAKA, March 3 (Xinhua) -- Chinese low-cost carrier Spring Airlines announced Tuesday in Osaka that it will open a hub at Kansai International Airport in Osaka Prefecture and expand services at the airport to meet increasing demands of travelers.
The carrier plans to increase the number of its Chinese flight destinations from Kansai airport to more than 20 in five years, with the number of weekly round-trip flights reaching 100, according to Zhang Xiuzhi, Chief Executive Officer of Spring Airlines.
Spring Airlines is a budget airline headquartered in Shanghai, China.
It flies the routes from Kansai airport to six Chinese cities, including Shanghai, Tianjin, Chongqing, Wuhan, Qingdao and Lanzhou, with average passenger load factor kept over 90 percent.
