Relegation threatened Monchengladbach shared points with Hamburg after a 1-1 to wrap relegation matches thanks to Frankfurt's loss.

Monchengladbach opened the scoring through midfielder Juan Arango who scored through a terrific dead ball goal four minutes before break.

Hamburg midfielder Aenis Ben Hatira equalized the score at the 71st minute to shock the guests. Monchengladbach finishes on 16th position with 36 points to seal a play off match for first division against Bochum or Fuehrt. Hamburg terminates a disappointing season on 8th position along 45 points.

Cologne earned a 2-1 victory over Schalke to earn their third consecutive victory whilst Schalke suffered their fourth consecutive loss. Schalke finished a disastrous campaign on 14th potion with 40 points while Cologne completes on 10th position.

Kaiserslautern outclassed Bremen 3-2 in an offensively minded match. Bremen terminates a sobering season on 13th position with 41 points while Kaiserslautern completes surprisingly on 7th position with 46 points.
