体坛英语新闻:German champions Dortmund win charity match over "Team Japan"
BERLIN, May 17 (Xinhua) -- German Bundesliga champions Dortmund earned a 2-1 victory over "Team Japan" at a charity match for the earthquake victims with 10,000 spectators in Duisburg on Tuesday.
Dortmund scored within 12 minutes two goals through midfielder Markus Feulner and striker Daniel Ginczek to smooth the way for the victory as "Team Japan" was only able to shorten the score through midfielder Shinji Kagawa, who usually plays for Dortmund, converted a penalty.
"Team Japan" consisted of Bundesliga and international players. The entrance fees of all spectators and a donation of one million euro by a German group go to Japan.
"The result does not matter, it was to us to help the people in Japan," "Team Japan" coach Pierre Littbarski said after the match.
