TEHRAN, Nov. 26 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad- Javad Zarif said Tuesday he is cautiously optimistic about future of the nuclear talks, official IRNA news agency reported.

"Iranians proved that the nuclear issue would only be solved through negotiations based on mutual respect and equal footing. Thus, the only option is to enter the talks with caution and optimism, with the eyes wide open," Zarif said.

"If there is a political will, no issue would remain unsolved in the nuclear area," He was quoted as saying.

"Iran is ready to remove the logical concerns of (the P5+1 group) over the country's nuclear program," he said, stressing that "removing the concerns is one of our objectives" in the nuclear negotiations.

Uranium enrichment, as one of the main components of Iran's nuclear program, will be maintained on the country's soil, he said, dismissing the recent comments that uranium enrichment has not been considered as the "right" for Iran in the Geneva agreement documents.

Iran and the P5+1 group, or the United States, Britain, France, Russia and China plus Germany, announced they have reached an interim deal on Sunday after five days of marathon talks in Geneva.

The United States and its allies will afford Iran with limited relief of sanctions on its oil, gold, petrochemicals, auto industries and civil aviation with an estimated value of about 7 billion U.S. dollars under the terms of the six-month nuclear deal.

In exchange, Iran agreed to halt enrichment above 5 percent and neutralizing its stockpile of near-20 percent uranium by means of dilution or converting.

The Iranian officials considered the maintenance of uranium enrichment inside the country as an achievement. They regarded it as a confidence building measure taken by the P5+1.
