I am the wind that wavers
You are the certain land;
I am the shadow that passes
Over the sand.

I am the leaf that quivers,
You-the unshaken tree;
You are the stars that are steadfast,
I am the sea.

You are tight eternal,
Iike a torch I shall die…
You are the surge of deep music,
I--but a cry!

我是抖抖颤颤的叶，

你是大树永不晃；

你是坚定不移的星座，

我是海一汪。

你是汹涌的深沉乐音，

我只——是声喊。
