The World Health organization has also thanked China for providing timely medical support and offering relief materials to Ebola-raided countries. Li Bin from China's National Health and Family Planning Commission was invited to give a speech at the meeting at the World Health Assembly in Geneva, regarding China’s active response to the Ebola crisis.

"Chinese medical staff communicated, shared experience, and worked side by side with counterparts from other countries in the three hardest-hit countries. China actively supports and participates in the international cooperation mechanism launched by the U-N and the WHO, and responsibly made its contribution," said Li Bin.

"China, together with the international community, will continue to do good work in various health programs in Africa, in order to help improve Africa's ability to deal with public health emergencies on the basis of ‘African need, African consent, and African participation'."
