美国总统安全顾问赖斯访华

U.S. National Security Adviser Susan Rice is scheduled to visit the Chinese capital on Friday.

During her two day visit, she is set to meet with senior Chinese officials, including State Councilor Yang Jiechi. Consultations on a range of bilateral, regional and global issues is on the cards.

The two day trip just comes ahead of Chinese President Xi Jinping’s first state visit to the United States in September at the invitation of US President Barack Obama. Both sides will lay the groundwork for the upcoming state visit.
