“永远记住你”不是“remember you forever”！这种中式英语你还在说吗？

说到我会永远记住你的英语，你脑袋里蹦出来的第一反应是什么？是不是“I'll remember you forever”？但你知道吗，“remember you forever”不能随便用，一不小心就会用错了！！

forever有永恒的意思，但是没有人可以活到forever，所以我们最多只是在自己活着的时候记住对方。

I'll never forget you.  √

有时，在很正式严肃的场合，比如发表演讲称赞一个人的贡献极大，在人们心中永垂不朽的时候，可能会说“remember you forever”。但这种情况并不常见，日常生活中一般用不到，比如：

The Republic today has your contributions, the Republic people remember you forever.
共和国的今天有您的功劳，共和国的人民将会永远铭记您。

所以，一般用“always”就好了哦！
