I was a sucker to believe him.(我居然相信他,真太傻了。) I refused to work for that kind of pay.I'm not that much of a sucker.(给那么一点工资,我才不干呢。

Don't be a sucker.Ifyou lend him that much money you'll never see it again.

There's a sucker born every minute.(每分钟都有一个容易欺骗的笨蛋出生。)

Why did you give him the money?(你干嘛给他钱呀?)他说:I guess I'mjuSt a suckerfor a hard-luck story.(我这人一听到别人哀哀诉苦,就会上当受骗的。)

Suckers come in two shapes, round and flat. Tommy's so slow hecan make an all-day sucker last two days.(Tommy是一个动作非常缓慢的孩子,一个特大棒棒糖他能吃上两天。)
