A: Sorry, I couldn’t do more to help you get that job. I recommended you to my boss.
B: It’s no big thing. There would be other jobs.
A: Well, you know I’m just a small potato, but I did my best for you.

A: 真抱歉，帮你得到那份工作的事我已经无能为力了。我向老板推荐过你。
B: 没关系，还有其他的工作可以做。
