B: That is so hard-hearted! They didn’t even try to find a way to keep people on?
A: No! They were totally merciless. They just said “That’s it. Thank you. Goodbye.”
B: Well, I’m glad you are not working for such ruthless people!

A: 哦，我们公司被卖掉了。所有的员工周一之前都要离开。
