roar:to make a very loud, deep sound 吼叫;咆哮
We heard a lion roar. 我们听见了狮子的吼声.
The gun roared deafeningly. 枪炮轰鸣声震耳欲聋.
The engine roared to life(= started noisily). 发动机隆隆启动.
The wind was roaring in my ears. 风在我的耳边咆哮.

coma:a deep unconscious state, usually lasting a long time and caused by serious illness or injury 昏迷
to go into/be in a coma 陷入╱处于昏迷状态

vanish:to disappear suddenly and/or in a way that you cannot explain (莫名其妙地)突然消失
The magician vanished in a puff of smoke. 魔术师在一股烟雾中突然不见了.
My glasses seem to have vanished. 我的眼镜似乎不翼而飞了.
